Designed as a collar comprising three strands of ninety-nine Akoya cultured pearls measuring 8.5-9.0 mm completed with an 18ct white gold clasp, signed VCA for Van Cleef & Arpels, Monture, numbered 13714 CS, set to the middle with a detachable open work plaque centring a lotus vase, millegrain-set with pear-shaped, rose-cut and old mine-cut diamonds between calibré-cut onyx, framed by a similarly set surround modelled as an Egyptian temple pylon, pendant/brooch mounted in platinum, signed Cartier Londres, diamond and onyx deficient, later added brooch fitting, pendant approximately 48.7mm x 41.3 mm, inner circumference approximately 368mm.
