Front of House Manager, Melbourne

   

A vacancy exists for a full-time Front of House Manager in our Melbourne office.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player and be able to complete tasks directly assigned to them. The position reports to Chief Executive Officer.  Duties include; maintaining reception, telephony, clerical tasks, general administration tasks, client liaison, client registration for sales, database management and coordinate events. As Front of House Manager you will oversee the exhibition space(s) and assist/facilitate the sales of art, jewellery and decorative arts.  Auctions are held in the early evening with viewings on weekends so flexibility with hours is essential.

Skills required; Proven reception, administration and clerical experience with professional telephone manner and excellent client rapport.  Competency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, understanding of computer databases and general computer literacy, time management and English language literacy. Sales experience preferred and appropriate tertiary education or long term career experience highly regarded.
