Gilt full plate movement signed Prevost, London, verge fusée escapement, decoratively pierced and engraved balance cock with scrolls and foliage, baluster pillars, silver champlevé dial, Roman numerals, arcaded Arabic minute ring, aperture for the date at 6 o'clock, outer gilded ring, gilt fancy hands, the centre pierced, chased and engraved with foliage signed Prevost London, plain polished inner case with winding aperture, outer case chased and engraved with foliate scrolls, giardinetto baskets and female portrait busts in profile and an enamel portrait of a lady in elaborate 18th century dress holding a berried twig at the centre, dial and movement signed, diameter 57mm.
