each with flush panelled top within a mitred frame with moulded and beaded edge above a narrow waist, the panelled sides within moulded borders with beaded edges, the front with a single drawer above a pair of removable panelled doors, all set with metal lock receptacles and pulls, supported on short waisted corner feet

This lot is sold with a Tomlinson Antique House certificate of antiquity, describing these side cabinets as huanghuali and dating them to the Qing dynasty

Condition Report

Some shrinkage gaps in the joins of the panel tops to the frames and to the side panels. Some slight stains to tops. One with small rough area to the join of a side panel to the side frame approx 5 cm. One with a natural fissure to the frame on one side now filled aprox 6 cm. Slightly faded patina to top of one cabinet. One lock pin missing. Generally present well.
