This lot is sold with a Tomlinson Antique House certificate of antiquity, describing this writing table as huanghuali and dating it to the Qing dynasty

Condition Report

The interior of the drawers in hardwood. Some slight shrinkage gaps in the joins of the panel top and frame at the front and the back joins, and slight gaps in the morticed corner joins. The top with slightly faded patina, two darker areas approx 8cm and 3 cm to the top panel and some slight paler stains. A darker stain in the centre of the back top frame. The base of the right drawer with a small gap to the front edge.
