each with a rounded crestrail composed of five joined members applied with four metal bands, and set on straight back posts centred with a plain rectangular S-form splat, supported by tapering curved side posts and recessed curved front posts with shaped flanges below the outscrolled handgrips, the hardwood seat within a mitred frame on four round section legs joined by beaded shaped aprons and four stretchers of ascending height, the wood with attractive grain and rich honey tones

Condition Report

One chair with recessed seat panel formed of three sections. A slight gap in the join of the apron below the footrest. The join of the back stretcher to the rear left leg has become detached. Otherwise generally good condition.
