Condition Report
Mirror support is secure, but slightly loose. The mirror is secured to the support by ivory knobs, both of which have hairline cracks associated with age. Kidney shaped water mark to the centre left side of the central square inlaid section of the top, measuring approximately 10 cm long x 3 cm at the widest point. Triangular loss to the veneer at the top left corner of the left freze drawer, approximately 1.5 cm high x 1 cm deep. Medium wear, scuffs, dings and dents to the plinth base, associated with use over time. Structurally sound. The stool feels to be of solid construction, the seat upholstery possibly renewed at some point. Darkened crazing and deterioration to the polish to the top section of the frame, surrounding the seat. Lesser crazing to the polish in the other areas to the base of the seat. Scuffing, dings and dents to the base associated with use over time.
